thaiholidaybudget.com is built and operated by Genext Information Systems, an independent web project run by a small team based in Thailand. The cost ranges in the estimator come from on-the-ground familiarity with travel and living costs in Pattaya, Bangkok, and other Thai destinations, combined with current research that we revisit regularly. "Uncle Pong" is a friendly fictional host persona we use to make budgeting less dry — but the people answering your email are real.
